Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., is not going to have an easy time getting reelected. That's been clear for some time now, and Republicans have been lining up to challenge her for that reason. But on Monday, things got even tougher for her.
Arkansas Lt. Gov. Bill Halter is now set to enter the race, running against Lincoln for the Democratic Party's nomination. Halter's been discussed as a possible primary challenger for some time now. His entry into the race has made quite a few liberals happy, as Lincoln, a moderate, hasn't endeared herself to the left, especially on issues like healthcare reform.
