Police say they are considering whether to charge Naomi Campbell after her driver says she slapped and punched him while he was driving her around New York City.
The driver told police the 39-year-old model became enraged with him and started to hit him from the back seat Tuesday afternoon.
Police spokesman Paul Browne says the driver stopped the car in midtown Manhattan and spoke to a traffic agent, who alerted police. He says Campbell jumped out of the car and ran away.
The driver is speaking to police at a precinct. Messages left with Campbell spokesman Jeff Raymond haven't been returned.
