Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty skipped the Southern Republican Leadership Conference here to welcome home troops from Iraq instead. But the delegates at the GOP confab will still see a video message from Pawlenty (which Politico's Ben Smith noticed and posted shortly after it appeared on Pawlenty's YouTube page).
