Did you know that anyone can score a date with "Black Swan" actress Mila Kunis? Sure, all you need to do is sign up for the Marines, get stationed in Afghanistan, and then make a YouTube video asking the self-proclaimed "nerd" to attend a military ball.
At least, that’s what Sgt. Scott Moore, of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines stationed in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, did, and now he'll be escorting Mila on Nov. 18 to the Marine Corp. Ball.
Scott's video was picked up by the Huffington Post on Friday, turning the video request into an instant viral hit. While interviewing Mila and Justin Timberlake during a recent "Friends with Benefits" junket, Fox News asked whether the actress planned to go to North Carolina to be Scott's date.
The unflappable Timberlake immediately answered for her:
“Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country,” Timberlake asked Kunis excitedly, before sending out a direct message to Moore. “I’m going to work on this, man. This needs to go down.”
Mila than ran the query by her publicist before graciously accepting the invitation. As sweet as I'm sure Kunis is, I really have to give credit to J.T. for not letting anyone brush off the question and essentially forcing Mila to make a public statement. He is like the world's best wingman.
God bless you, Justin Timberlake.
