MOSCOW (AP) — Russia's emergency ministry says a nuclear submarine fire at an Arctic shipyard has caused no radiation leak, or injuries.

The ministry said in a statement carried by the ITAR-Tass news agency that Thursday's fire on the Yekaterinburg nuclear sub resulted from a violation of technological rules.

It said the fire occurred while the submarine was sittting in dock for repairs at the Roslyakovo shipyard in the Murmansk region.

The Yekaterinburg is a Delta-IV-class nuclear submarine.

A ministry official said a fire engulfed wooden scaffolding at the yard, but refused to give further details.
