LONDON (AP) — Police trying to identify the body of a young woman found on Queen Elizabeth II's Sandringham estate say they are focusing on cases of women who have gone missing in recent months.
A spokesman said Wednesday that more information about the murder mystery should be made available in the afternoon.
DNA samples are expected to provide some vital clues.
The body was discovered on New Year's Day in a forest three miles from the queen's house. Police say the body had been there for between one and four months.
British newspapers have focused on several missing women, but police say they cannot speculate about the woman's identity.
The queen and her husband, Prince Philip, were in residence at the estate when the body was found.
