PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities were searching for a gunman after a shooting at a Phoenix-area smoke shop left two dead and one person wounded.
Peoria police say the shooting occurred Tuesday afternoon at The Euphorium Emporium smoke shop. It was unclear if the two people who were killed were employees or customers of the family-owned shop.
Police say a man who apparently was a customer was shot and ran outside of the store to get help. The Arizona Republic says the man was taken to a hospital by helicopter and was in stable condition. His name wasn't immediately available.
