KIPLING, Colo. (AP) — Police say a 17-year-old girl who jumped out of a car driven by her mother Saturday morning was hit and killed by an oncoming car.
Police in Denver say a teenage girl is dead after she jumped out of a car driven by her mother and was hit and killed by an oncoming vehicle.
The Denver Post reports ( ) that 17-year-old Catrina Fox jumped from the moving car on U.S. 285 at about 1 a.m. Saturday.
She was hit by a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser being driven by another teen, a 17-year-old boy.
Fox was killed. Police said they do not plan to file charges in the accident. The boy was uninjured.
