Oil Prices Fall After 7-day Surge

NEW YORK (AP) — Oil prices took a breather on Monday, falling slightly as investors booked some profits after a seven-day surge. Here's how energy contracts traded.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Benchmark crude fell by $1.21 to finish $108.56 per barrel.

Gasoline fell by 2.45 cents to end at $3.1283 per gallon.

Heating oil fell by 2.95 cents to finish at $3.2864 per gallon.

Natural gas fell by 10.4 cents to end at $2.446 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE Futures exchange in London:

Brent crude fell $1.30 to finish at $124.17 per barrel.
