Another Pew Survey finds that most Americans would lay the blame on Republicans if no “fiscal cliff” deal is reached by the end of the year.

The poll finds that 53 percent say Republicans in Congress would be blamed, which represents no change from the last time the same question was asked November 11. 27 percent say President Obama would be to blame, down from 29 percent last time.

Only 40 percent of those surveyed have any faith that a deal will be reached at all, with 49 percent saying there won’t be a deal.
