First, Rush Limbuagh praised the NRA's Wayne LaPierre as the "adult" in the gun control debate today, after his surreal press conference which called for armed guards in every school in the country.
But he didn't stop there.
We tracked down Rush's most inflammatory statements so you don't have to listen:
* "The NRA was very classy and laid back for a week. They didn't say anything, didn't get involved, didn't attempt to exploit it one way or another. They are the greatest, the largest gun safety organization in the country."
* "I'd venture to say that 99 percent of the gun owners in this country, had they been there, would have gone over and taken the shooter out, had they had the chance. But it was a 'gun-free zone.'"
* :I think most parents would probably say, 'Yep, put an armed guard in there.' It would be easier than rolling back the clock a couple generations where it wasn't necessary because our culture hadn't spiraled out of control. But now that it has we gotta deal with it as it exists."
* "It's what a certain percentage of the country believes. It's what all leftists believe. The NRA is to blame here. The gun culture is to blame, not their culture. No way, Jose."
