Obama projected as winner of Montana primary

Barack Obama has already been declared the presumptive Democratic nominee by most media outlets, and now he can celebrate one more win in his planned victory speech.

The Democratic primaries are, officially, over: MSNBC, CNN and Fox News all called Montana’s contest for Barack Obama as soon as the state’s polls closed at 10 p.m. Eastern.

That wraps up, finally, five months’ worth of elections and caucuses in all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa and “Democrats Abroad.”
