Bill Murray always knew it would be a hit

On Wednesday morning the cast and director of "Ghostbusters" reunited on the "Today" show -- much to the delight of superfan Al Roker.

During the reunion, which was part of a collaboration with Entertainment Weekly, viewers learned that Bill Murray always knew the film would be a hit.

Fans also got a breakdown of what was in the infamous slime from "he slimed me." According to Murray it was a "disgusting combination [of] corn syrup and another ... and starch and ... some sort of an adhesive and a kind of a poison that's used on chinch bugs."

Sadly, there were no real hints about "Ghostbusters 3" -- although Ernie Hudson said he'd be glad to be part of it. Watch the cast -- Murray, Hudson, Annie Potts, Sigourney Weaver -- and director Ivan Reitman below:
