Don Lemon is at it again. The CNN anchor -- who has a notorious propensity for making himself the story -- said "bullshit" on air Thursday night, quickly catching himself and apologizing to viewers.

The gaffe came as Lemon and CNN media reporter Brian Stelter discussed Mother Jones' expose of Bill O'Reilly's false claims concerning his reporting on the Falklands War and El Salvador's civil war in the 1980s. O'Reilly angrily denounced the report, dubbing it "total bullshit" and accusing David Corn, its principal author, of being a "despicable human being." Lemon read the uncensored version of O'Reilly's statement.

"He says 'It's total bullshit,'" Lemon said. "B.S. Excuse me. Total B.S. Pardon me, I did not mean for that to come out."

Later, Lemon offered viewers another apology. "Again, my apologies for using that word," he said. "It'll never happen again. It was just a slip of the tongue."
