October 21, 2015 – the date visited by Marty McFly 26 years ago in “Back to the Future: Part II” — is upon us and although many of the cult classic's predictions did not come true, some did.
In fact some of the technologies from the movie are downright ubiquitous. Video calls and 3D films have been around for a while and though it is rare to see a drone walking a dog, drones themselves can be seen hovering about at any given moment. And although flying cars and hoverboards are not yet used by the masses they do technically exist.
