"Daily Show" host Trevor Noah last night discussed the response to Tuesday's attacks in Brussels.
"Unfortunately, there are always those who use these times to score political points," Noah said, referring to Ted Cruz's criticism of President Obama, who addressed the attacks while at a baseball game in Cuba with Raul Castro.
"Ted Cruz, first of all, you're a sanctimonious jackass," he continued. "Second of all, President Obama doesn't need to go to Belgium for them to know that he's an ally ... Wouldn't that be the last thing that the Prime Minister of Belgium needs, houseguests?"
Perhaps implicitly responding to such criticism of his Cuba trip, Obama said, "It's very important for us to not respond with fear."
Noah mirrored the sentiment, adding, "Terrorists win when we allow them to disrupt our way of life."
