In a new video encouraging members to vote for Republican Donald Trump, National Rifle Association head Wayne LaPierre came completely unglued in defending his apocalyptic rhetoric about the presidency of Barack Obama. And LaPierre predicted that if Democrat Hillary Clinton were succeed Obama in the White House, then the country will cement its status as hell on earth.
“I told you exactly what [Obama] would do," LaPierre lamented in a more than six-minute video, flagged by Media Matters' Timothy Johnson.
"The media said I was nuts. But in the end, America knows I was right,” LaPierre asserted after claiming that the president has “laid waste to the America we remember” and caused the country to “completely unravel.”
LaPierre said his prediction that Obama “would come for our guns and do everything in his power to sabotage the Second Amendment” had “came true."
Obama “has transformed America into a sanctuary nation for felons, criminal gangbangers, drug dealers, repeat offenders and illegal aliens,” LaPierre frantically argued before claiming that his appointed Supreme Court justices, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, are among the worst in history.
“Our inner cities now rank among the most dangerous places in the world,” LaPierre said. "Our economy is on life support. Health care is an utter failure. Our schools have never been worse. You can see the despair in every parent's eyes.”
And if the nation does not elect the GOP nominee, according to the doom-and-gloom ad, Clinton “will come for your guns. She will attack your right to carry. She will attack your most basic right to defend your family with a firearm in your home.”
LaPierre described his hellish prediction of a Clinton presidency as "post-freedom America."
