It seemed like a typical Friday afternoon before Fox News' Sean Hannity completely savaged MSNBC's Joe Scarborough on Twitter.

Hannity seemed to be angered by Scarborough's assertion that the Fox News host had a "bromance" with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. He attacked the "Morning Joe" host on a range of subjects, from his short-lived stint in radio to his alleged faux-conservatism.

The exchange delighted all of Twitter partially because the two talking heads have each provoked controversy this cycle due to their personal relationship with President-elect Donald Trump.

Earlier this week, Scarborough was caught in a feud with ex-CBS Donald Trump embed Sopan Deb (now with the New York Times) that centered around his alleged coziness with the president-elect. Deb said on Twitter on Sunday that Scarborough "partied" with Trump on New Year's Eve. Scarborough denied the report and accused Deb of being a hack.

Photos would later reveal that Scarborough did indeed attend a party at Mar-a-Lago, Trump's resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

Hannity mocked Scarborough for the falsehood on Friday. The biggest reveal from the tweetstorm, however, was that Scarborough has apparently been gunning for a gig at Fox News, despite his current employment at a rival network.

Scarborough did not hit back at Hannity as of Friday afternoon, perhaps realizing this is not his week on Twitter.
