President Donald Trump began his Sunday praising the federal government's response to the "impossible situation" in Puerto Rico.

It was the second day this weekend Trump dedicated tweets to Puerto Rico. On Saturday Trump attacked San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz in part because of her interview on CNN's "New Day" in which she condemned the White House for portraying the situation in Puerto Rico as a "good news story."
Trump's tweets on Sunday did not criticize any Puerto Rican officials, but he did hit the media and "politically motivated ingrates" for disparaging the recovery efforts. The president has been acutely aware of how a poor response to Puerto Rico can affect his presidency. Trump himself knocked former President Barack Obama for golfing during a flood in Louisiana
President Obama should have gone to Louisiana days ago, instead of golfing. Too little, too late!

Now Trump is tweeting about Puerto Rico while he's at his private golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. He's scheduled to fly to Puerto Rico on Tuesday, two weeks after the hurricane hit.
