Sean Hannity melts down on Twitter over a CNN interview about advertising boycott

Hannity was not happy that CNN interviewed Angelo Carusone, the man behind the boycott of Hannity's show

Sean Hannity erupted in an all-caps Twitter tirade Sunday, targeting CNN's Brian Stelter for hosting an interview with Angelo Carusone, the president of Media Matters for America and the organizer of a campaign to get advertisers to abandon Hannity's Fox News program.

Major advertisers from Keurig and IHOP to Nature's Bounty and Ford have all pulled advertising from "Hannity" over his defense of U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore.

Knowing his job security at Fox is directly related to the ad revenue he pulls in, Hannity was not pleased Sunday that Stelter, CNN's chief media critic, was giving Carusone airtime to talk about the boycott.

For about a week, Hanntiy has baselessly called Carusone a "racist" and "trans/gay homophobe," even though Carusone himself is gay and the organization he heads, Media Matters, often champions causes of racial minorities.
