Hardly anyone looks more miserable on a daily basis than First Lady Melania Trump. Whether she's slapping away President Donald Trump's handholding attempts or simply rocking her permanent tight-lipped mug, Melania always seems to be one low-security-day-away from bolting out the White House doors. Really, can you blame her?

Thursday, Mrs. Trump did little to appease the rumors of her unhappiness in Washington when she visited the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. to meet with patients, families and staff members. The visit is a tradition that dates back to First Lady Bess Truman over 60 years ago.

One 10-year-old named asked the first lady, "If you could spend the holidays anywhere in the world, where would you go?" To which she responded: "I would spend my holidays on a deserted island, a tropical island — with my family." Sounds nice, both for her and the balance of humanity.

Twitter wasted no time pointing out that such a wish is on many of our Christmas lists:

Melania Trump wants to spend the holidays on a deserted island. Can she take her husband with her? And leave him there forever?

If only wishing would make ol' St. Nick a reality and gift us all with a Christmas miracle.
