“The View” co-host Joy Behar was creeped out how ousted Fox News executive Bill Shine was helping to coach Brett Kavanaugh through sexual assault allegations, after he was pushed out over his handling of harassment allegations by women at the network.

California professor Christine Blasey Ford accused the Supreme Court nominee of trying to rape her when they were teenagers, and Shine is helping Kavanaugh navigate the allegations before the Senate can vote on his confirmation.

“This is also very rich,” Behar said. “Kavanaugh is going to be in front of them, I guess, next week under oath. So Bill Shine, who was ousted from Fox because he basically oversaw and enabled a culture of sexual harassment over there when Roger Ailes was there. I remember this, you know this.”

Co-host Abby Huntsman, a former Fox News broadcaster, broke in to defend Shine, who joined the White House as communications director in July after leaving the conservative network.

“Bill Shine hired me,” Huntsman said. “He’s a brilliant communicator. I worked with him, and I worked at Fox for a number of — for three years. He’s good at what he does.”

Behar wasn’t sidetracked.

“Bill Shine, he is the one who is coaching Kavanaugh,” Behar said. “Just let that sink in for a second. The guy oversees a culture of sexual harassment, keeps it quiet, doesn’t report it, and basically enables it, and he is now going to be coaching Kavanaugh, who is accused of sexual assault — unbelievable.”
