If you’re a pizza lover, you’ll be able to eat your favorite food, guilt-free, for breakfast! Garlic chives are a type of watercress. They have a light garlic aroma and can be identified by small black dots on the ends of the cress leaves.
RECIPE: BREAKFAST PIZZA
Serves 2
- 1 avocado
- 2 tsp sushi vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Coconut or olive oil
- 2 large tortillas
- 2 eggs
- Lemon juice
- Pepper to taste
Optional: garlic chives, chili flakes, and sriracha
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, scoop out the flesh, and mash to a smooth consistency in a bowl with sushi vinegar, salt, and some chili flakes.
Grease a frying pan lightly with coconut or olive oil, heat the pan, and bake the tortillas until both sides turn light brown. Set aside. Use the same pan to fry the eggs. Spread the avocado mixture on the warm tortillas and place the fried eggs on top. Add lemon juice, pepper, salt, and garlic chives or sriracha as per your palate.
