Documentary filmmaker Eugene Jarecki and rapper and activist Immortal Technique talk about the rise and fall of Elvis, the focus of Jarecki's documentary "The King." The film takes Elvis' 1963 Rolls-Royce on a cross-country road trip, making stops along the way with Alec Baldwin, David Simon, Dan Rather, Chuck D, and many more. "I grew up in Harlem, so I understood that the rock music that was made, rock and roll at that time, was something that was borrowed from a totally different radical beat, and I use "borrowed" in the lightest way as possible," Immortal Technique told Salon's D. Watkins.
