Sarah Silverman talks about her latest Max comedy special "Someone You Love" and gives a window into her process as a stand-up comic. "I like blending heady stuff with aggressively dumb stuff because that's me," she told Salon's Melanie McFarland. Silverman explains why this special was a different experience for her personally, in that, between the recording and release of the special, she lost her father and stepmother two weeks apart.
Silverman also talks about guest hosting "The Daily Show" this year and the fact that women have never hosted the premiere late-night TV shows.
