Wood Jr. explained the impact living in a "post-truth world" has on both comedy and corporations. Wood Jr. reflected on how this impacted everything from slavery to Pride Month merchandise sold at Target. "When you take a company like Target putting Pride Month merch in the back of the store, that's the middle ground," he said. "That's because they're trying to appease people who live in a totally different reality."
