Rose Byrne knew her AppleTV+ show "Physical" would be polarizing because of its blunt portrayal of eating disorders and her role as an unlikable protagonist, but she tells Salon she still wasn't prepared for the feedback she received. "It felt very personal, the reviews, far more than anything else I'd done," Byrne said. "People really had an opinion in a way that was quite revealing of themselves." Byrne also reflects on working with showrunner Annie Weisman to tell her personal story and the feedback she gets from addicts who relate to her role.
