Comedian and actor Yvonne Orji tells Salon about the dual SAG-AFTRA and Writers Guild strikes. "I think people don't understand the term 'working actor,'" she said on this episode of "Salon Talks." Orji speaks to what the strike will mean for the entertainment industry and why she believes its future is "global." Once the strike ends, Orji shares what kinds of stories she is ready to continue telling. "We always say Black is not a monolith, but I'm like, but yes, let's see more of these stories that present us not monolithically," she said.
