David Mura

David is the award-winning author and activist behind "The Stories Whiteness Tells Itself," a new book about changing narratives surrounding racism and inequality. After watching the world's reaction to the murders of George Floyd and Philando Castile, which happened just a few miles from his home in Minneapolis, David is on a mission to take people beyond apology, contrition and sadness – he has a renewed call to action to dismantle white supremacy and fully acknowledge the stories and experiences of Black Americans.
