Gretchen Sisson, PhD, is a research sociologist at Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH). She leads ANSIRH’s Abortion Onscreen project, which studies portrayals of abortion in American film and television and their effects on broader social perceptions of abortion.
