Marina Villeneuve is a staff reporter for Salon covering Trump's legal battles and other national news focusing on major legal and political narratives. She was previously an investigative producer at a local Boston television station, where she led investigations into abuse at public schools and specialized in data reporting. She worked for over six years as a statehouse reporter for The Associated Press covering New York and Maine, where she chronicled the administrations of former Govs. Andrew Cuomo and Paul LePage. She has also covered Colombian peace negotiations for the Washington Post, Congress for the L.A. Times, and northern New Jersey municipalities for The (Bergen) Record. She is a member of Investigative Reporters and Editors and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
