Robert “Bob” Beamon

Robert “Bob” Beamon is a former American Gold Medalist in the Long Jump at the ‘68 Mexico City Summer Olympic Games. He has remained an active philanthropist and activist in Black communities, creating mentoring programs for young track and field athletes and developing his own motivational program. He currently serves on the Jesse Owens Foundation Board of Directors.
