Wendy Belcher

Wendy Belcher grew up in Ghana and Ethiopia. "Honey from the Lion: An African Journey" won several prizes, including the PEN Martha Albrand prize for first book of nonfiction and the Washington State Governor's Award. She lives in Los Angeles and runs a small academic press at UCLA.
