How to Enter:
Participants must enter their name and e-mail address. All submissions, whether postal or electronic, must be received by 11:59 P.M. PDT on Jan. 14, 2000.

Submissions by mail must be typed, double-spaced and on white paper, with the participant's mailing address, phone number and e-mail address (if available). Prize Details:
The Grand Prize winner will receive two round trip tickets to Florence, Italy, six (6) nights hotel accommodations -- two (2) in each city, Florence, Rome and Venice, and a rental car to travel to each city. The winner will also receive an allowance to view museum attractions. Grand Prize winner's name will be posted on Salon.com, after the winner has signed an affidavit of eligibility for the prize.
The total value of the Grand Prize depends on the prize winner's location and trip dates but will be approximately $2,975.00 for the leased car, plus approximately $150.00 for the museum allowance, plus $13,449.00 for hotel and airfare, for a total value of approximately $16,574.00.
ALL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. All prizes will be awarded.
All prizes are non-transferable, non-replaceable and cannot be redeemed for cash, bartered or sold.

(i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible or postage-due entries;

(iii) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind a rising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or
