How did Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg rise to serve on the nation's highest court and what will she be remembered for beyond her famous, stinging dissents? Directors Betsy West and Julie Cohen joined "Salon Talks" to peel back the layers of Ginsburg, which they brought together in a forthcoming documentary film about her life, "RBG," playing in select theaters beginning May 4.
"There is her history as a litigator on behalf of women, and also an amazing feminist love story," West said on "Salon Talks," referring to Ginsburg's husband Marty, who died in 2010. There is also Ginsburg's hour-long workout routine on full display in "RBG," which puts most occasional exercisers to shame. Spoiler: The 85-year-old justice can do 20 push-ups, real ones, too!
