Porter, who also directed "Gideon's Army," "Spies of Mississippi," and "Trapped" discussed how she created the series with SalonTV's D Watkins, including viewing hundreds of hours of lost footage of RFK. "That impulse to step into things and do what you can to help where you can and we see that over and over with Bobby Kennedy," Porter told Salon.
