Actor Molly Ringwald joined "Salon Talks" to discuss her new film "All These Small Moments," which premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. In talking about this most recent role playing the mother of two teenage boys who's trying to keep the peace at home while dealing with a troubled marriage, Ringwald reflected on her career in Hollywood.
"I was asked, or expected to be an authority at a very young age, which is when I was a teenager, because any time you become famous, or when you become, I was considered a role model for people my age," Ringwald told Salon. "Naturally, people want to put you in that position where you're telling people what to do. And I felt incredibly uncomfortable with that, just because I was figuring things out for myself."
