Creator and star of the Bravo scripted comedy opens up about parenting during the #MeToo movement, her own sexual harassment experience and her radio project.

A born and bred New Yorker, Kargman drew on her own experiences to create Bravo's "Odd Mom Out" series. The character she plays is a version of herself who is trapped in a world of high-class socialite mothers on New York's Upper East Side. She joined Salon's Alli Joseph on "Salon Talks" to talk about her SiriusXM radio show "The Jill Kargman Show," which airs on SiriusXM's channel 109 Mondays and Fridays at 12 p.m. ET.

The radio show takes on parenting, relationships and living in New York City. According to Kargman, everyone can be interesting. "I feel like everyone has an interesting story who lives in New York. I kinda tease it out of them. And then we just downgrade into gossip and shit like that."

Kargman also revealed that she is working on a new project with Seth Meyers. "I'm trying to do a reboot of 'The Munsters,' which is one of my favorite shows," Kargman said. Meyers is producing along with Michael Shoemaker. "I absolutely worship those guys. They are so brilliant. They bring so much to this project," she said about the pair.
