What offends you? Turns out, a lot. That's why comedian Colin Quinn is steering away from ethnic humor and instead focusing on a purer, less divisive topic: politics in America. "Things offend me. Comedians offend me," Quinn joked to SalonTV's Dean Obeidallah. "People say, ethnic humor encouraged racism, and I said, you know, that's a thing, but nobody does ethnic humor anymore, and I go, that is true. Since the eradication of ethnic humor from the mainstream, racism is gone."

In his new one-man show "Red State Blue State," the comedian and "Saturday Night Live" alum centers his focus on politics, taking swings at everyone-Democrats, Republicans, and independents. The show produced by Audible, Mike Lavoie, Carlee Briglia and Brian Stern, and directed by Bobby Moresco, is now playing at New York's Minetta Lane Theatre through March.
