Julie Delpy is exploring the complexities of motherhood in her latest film, "My Zoe," and in her own life as a mother. "Everyone has their own way of dealing with motherhood," the actress, director and Oscar-nominated screenwriter said on "Salon Talks." Delpy laughs that she is the "fun mom." "My Zoe," in theaters now, follows a mother after her child undergoes a medical crisis. As a filmmaker, Delpy is hoping to break new ground around what it means to be a mom onscreen, including honoring decisions characters make "even if it's the wrong thing."
