New York Times food editor Sam Sifton wants to bring the sense of gathering around Thanksgiving and holidays into the everyday. In his latest cookbook
"See You on Sunday," Sifton shares the best recipes for Sunday suppers, which can be prepared on any day of the week and are meant to be shared with friends and family. Salon's Joseph Neese sat down with Sifton on "Salon Talks" to discuss where to start when hosting a weekly dinner. "You can choose your lane. I wouldn't start with the full Thanksgiving with 15 people. I'd start with a smaller group with roast chicken or a big pot of gumbo."
