Writer and director Zach Braff says that the deaths of family and close friends had a profound impact on his latest film "A Good Person," starring Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman. After losing his father, sister and a close friend to Covid-19 in a close time period, Braff started evaluating his grief. "Standing up from my own grief" gave him perspective on his screenplay, which explores the impact of tragedy on the lives of two very different survivors.
