Actress Gabrielle Union discusses the realities of being a Black woman in Hollywood during a conversation about her memoir "You Got Anything Stronger?" with Salon's D. Watkins. When asked how the industry has changed since the start of her career, Union said there may be more jobs available, but disparities remain when it comes to pay, respect and meaningful work. Following the Black women actors who came up before her, Union hopes to encourage rising young women to take up their well-deserved space in Hollywood.
