Basketball star Iman Shumpert is showing off his talents across the entertainment industry as an actor on Showtime's "The Chi," to a rapper and a podcaster. He explains to Salon's D. Watkins why he loves all his jobs and is attracted to doing things that scare him, like his breakout performance on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars." "On 'Dancing with the Stars,' I didn't know what I was doing," Shumpert said. "It's the challenge. I might mess up and everybody might laugh, or Iman wins and he's champion.
