Edie Falco gets honest about playing a police chief in the CBS show "Tommy" at a time when law enforcement is facing a reckoning with police brutality and corruption. Falco is hopeful that the show can reveal the inner-workings of a cop whose mind is in the right place, while still acknowledging the problems society faces when it comes to policing. Falco was impressed that the show doesn't label issues as blue or red. "'Cause as soon as you do that, half the country is out," she said told Salon's D. Watkins.
