Are you demoting sex? According to sex therapist Ian Kerner, the author of the New York Times bestseller "She Comes First: The Thinking Man's Guide to Pleasuring a Woman,", sex is often demoted during conversations about health, well being and relationships. And you might be doing it without even knowing.
Kerner sat down with Salon's Mary Elizabeth Williams to discuss his upcoming Salon show, "Sex Toast." "We're in a culture where yes, sex is everywhere, sex is in the media but when it actually comes to the interactions that we're having with teachers, with educators, with our parents, with healthcare practitioners sex is either not verbalized at all or it's demoted," Kerner said on "Salon Talks."
